Quizagrams Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Deep State Games Inc. ("Deep State Games," "we," "us" or "our") handles information in connection with Quizagrams (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. Quizagrams does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or other contact details in the App. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message and use it only to respond to you.

Game data. Your game progress and settings are stored on your device. We do not collect them on our servers.

Information collected by our advertising partner. The App displays ads provided by Unity Ads, a service of Unity Technologies. When the App shows an ad, the Unity Ads software development kit (SDK) may automatically collect information from your device, including:

  • Device identifiers, such as your device's advertising ID (IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android) and an app installation ID
  • IP address and the approximate location derived from it (city, state or country, not precise GPS location)
  • Device information, such as model, operating system, language, and network type
  • Ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown, viewed, tapped or skipped
  • Diagnostic data, such as crash and performance information

Unity collects this information under its own privacy policy, described below.

Advertising and Unity Ads

Ads help keep Quizagrams free. Unity Technologies uses the information described above to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. Where permitted, and with your consent where required by law, Unity may use this information to show you personalized ads and may share it with its advertising partners.

Unity acts as an independent controller of the information it collects. Its practices are governed by the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it.

We do not receive personal information about you from Unity beyond aggregated reports on ad performance.

Your Choices

You can limit how your information is used for advertising:

  • iPhone and iPad: If the App asks for permission to track you, you can choose "Ask App Not to Track." You can change this later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Android: In your device settings, go to Privacy > Ads (or Google > Ads) to delete or reset your advertising ID.
  • Within an ad: Tap the Data Privacy icon shown in Unity ads to see the data Unity holds about your device, opt out of personalized ads, or request deletion.
  • Unity directly: You can send access, deletion, or other privacy requests to Unity at DPO@unity3d.com.

Opting out of personalized ads does not remove ads from the App. You will still see ads, but they will be less tailored to you.

Children's Privacy

Quizagrams is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us using the details below and we will work to delete it.

Your Privacy Rights

California and other U.S. states. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. However, letting Unity Ads collect device identifiers to show personalized ads may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some state laws. To opt out, use the choices in the section above, or contact us and we will help. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. If you are in these regions, Unity will ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Because we do not hold personal information about you, most requests are best sent to Unity using the options above. You can also contact us and we will help direct your request.

Data Retention and Security

We keep emails you send us only as long as needed to respond and for our ordinary business records. Unity retains the data it collects according to its own privacy policy. Data collected by the Unity Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version at this location and update the effective date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
